    Kindly review these terms before confirming your reservation and making payment. By proceeding with the booking, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • Garments may have some repairs

    Customers understand that the garments they are hiring are not brand new. These items are rented out weekly and no discounts or refunds will be given for minor wear and tear. This is normal for second-hand clothing.

  • Damages

    Small repairs such as split seams and broken zips will be covered by us. If an Item is deemed unrepairable from negligence, the customer will be asked to pay the full RRP price of the garment, failure to do so will result in legal action.

  • How to post garments back

    The postage return bag must be posted in a YELLOW express post box by 2pm on the Monday after your event or taken to the post office.

    Please do not post returns via a RED post box. If this is done, you will be liable to pay a late fee of $25.

  • Cleaning

    PLEASE DO NOT CLEAN THE GARMENT YOURSELF. We provide free cleaning on all garments.

  • Returns

    Every hire includes a return postage satchel, which is covered in your hire fee. If you lose or misplace your satchel, please return your item to the following address:

    Please note: If a return satchel is lost, the renter is responsible for the return postage cost. Returns must be sent via Australia Post Express, which currently retails at $14.80.

  • Rental Periods at Hire Isla Attire

    At Hire Isla Attire, all rental periods are inclusive. This means the day your item arrives and the day it’s posted back are both counted within your selected hire duration.

    For example, a 4-day hire may begin on a Friday (arrival day) and end on the following Monday (return day). Both Friday and Monday are included in the 4-day period.

  • Credit Notes

    All issued credit notes from Hire Isla Attire have no expiry date, so you can use them whenever you’re ready to hire again.

  • Cancellation Policy

    At Hire Isla Attire, we understand that plans can change!


    We offer full refunds for cancellations made at least one week prior to your booking start date.

    If your item has already been posted, we’re unable to offer a refund — however, you’ll receive a credit note for the full hire amount, which has no expiry date and can be used anytime in the future.

  • Deadline & Late Return Policy

    At Hire Isla Attire, we know how important it is for your outfit to arrive on time. If, for any reason, your hire doesn’t arrive in time for your event, you’ll receive a full refund — no questions asked.

    Returns:

    All items must be posted back on the final day of your rental period. For example, if your 4-day hire ends on a Monday, your return must be lodged with Australia Post on Monday.

    Because many of our pieces are booked back-to-back, a $25 late fee will apply for each day the return is delayed.

    Public Holidays & Postage Delays:

    We understand Australia Post may not operate on weekends or public holidays. If your return date falls on one of these days, please lodge the return on the next available business day and send us a quick message to let us know. We’re always happy to work with you when delays are out of your control!
